Darwin Glacier Lambert Conformal 2000 (Google it)

Spatial data in the vicinity of the Darwin Glacier in the Ross Sea Region can be represented using the Darwin Glacier Lambert Conformal 2000 projection (DGLC2000). The extents of DGLC2000 are 145°E to 169°W and 76°S to 81°S. A Lambert conformal conic projection was chosen rather than the Transverse Mercator projection because the latter becomes excessively distorted when extended over large longitudinal ranges.
