The planetocentric latitude measures the angular distance of an object perpendicular to the Mars equator, positive to the north, negative to the south. The planetocentric longitude measures the angular distance of an object from the prime meridian (from 0° to 360°), positive to the East. Airy-0 is a crater on Mars whose location defines the position of the prime meridian of that planet.
